We’re living in a season of uncertainty, which has caused ripple effects in nearly every sector across the country. Congregations, nonprofits, faith-based missions, and independent schools are no exception. Some of us are seeing a slowing down in funding. Others are coping with the sudden loss of long-standing grants. For many, the path forward feels less certain that it did even a few weeks ago.

So what do you do when you don’t know what to do?

For us, the answer is simple – but not easy: We stay the course! We double down on our mission. We acknowledge the complexities, but we don’t retreat in fear and confusion. We move forward with hope, wisdom, and deep gratitude for those who walk this journey with us.

This is not a time for panic. It is the time for transparency, trust building, and truth. We are committed to being honest about the challenges we face – not with a “sky is falling” message, but with a grounded understanding of the moment we are in. Our donors, partners, and friends deserve that honesty. And more than that, they deserve to know how their support continues to make a real and lasting difference.

Because here’s the good news: Our mission is still changing lives!

Despite the uncertainty, transformation stories continue to unfold every day. People are being fed, families are finding hope, individuals on the margins are being seen, and supported. There are many stories that remind us the value of our mission is not defined by the fluctuation of the times, but by the steady, faithful presence we bring to those we serve.

So, let us embrace the complexity of this moment. Let us hold fast to the clarity of our calling. That means being good stewards, re-evaluating our strategies, and most importantly, continuing to share how we can make a difference.

We need one another. Every prayer, every dollar, every shared story matters. Together, we can weather this season – and come out stronger, more connected, and even more committed to our mission.
